The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has known as on Governor Dauda Lawal to reinstate over 3,000 civil servants just lately disengaged from the state workforce.

The celebration made the decision in an announcement issued on Monday in Gusau by its Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris.

In keeping with the assertion, the affected employees embrace academics, well being personnel, and different civil servants from the 14 native authorities areas of the state.

Idris described the mass disengagement as “arbitrary,” alleging that the affected staff had earlier handed the federal government’s verification train earlier than being requested to cease work.

He mentioned most of the employees had spent between 10 and 20 years in service and had massive households relying on them.

The APC spokesman urged the state authorities to rethink its determination, warning that the mass sack may worsen hardship and insecurity within the state.
