The Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP, has disclosed why its Nationwide Working Committee, NWC, suspended the Nationwide Secretary and the Nationwide Organizing Secretary of the celebration, Samuel Anyanwu and Umar Bature respectively.
DAILY POST reported that the NWC-PDP on Saturday suspended Anyanwu, Bature, Authorized Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade and Deputy Authorized Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha for one month following a courtroom ruling that halted the celebration’s deliberate nationwide conference.
The NWC-PDP was stated to have issued a proper warning letter on September 30, 2025 to Anyanwu and Bature.
The warning letter reportedly cited allegations of misconduct, together with unauthorized communications, anti-party actions and actions that undermined celebration unity and protocols.
The letter was additionally stated to function a ultimate warning to Anyanwu and Bature, urging rapid compliance with NWC directives to avert additional disciplinary measures.
“Regardless of these warnings, the pair’s continued involvement in actions deemed disruptive culminated of their suspensions.
