Former Speaker of the Home of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has warned that the size of killings and bloodshed in northern Nigeria has positioned the area underneath a religious curse, stressing that the disaster should now be handled as a nationwide emergency.
Dogara, talking on Tuesday throughout a panel session on the Nigeria Funding and Industrialisation Summit (NNIIS) 2025 organised by the Northern Elders Discussion board (NEF) in Abuja, stated the state of affairs had gone past strange socio-political considerations.
