Vandals have began carting away streetlights, cables, iron rods and copper wires on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway in Lagos State.
As seen in a video by Tijani Alabi Fatai for Guardian Nigeria, among the tasks carried out by the Lagos State Authorities to beautify the expressway have been destroyed.
“Vandalism has returned to the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, one among Lagos’ mannequin highway tasks accomplished lower than 5 years in the past,” Fatai mentioned.
“Stories point out that vandals are systematically destroying drainage cowl slabs to extract iron rods, whereas others goal aluminum streetlights and underground cables to steal copper wires.”
