A yet-to-be-identified motorcyclist was on Wednesday morning crushed to demise by a truck alongside Oda Highway in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
An eyewitness instructed the newsmen that the incident occurred when the motorcyclist was returning house after dropping his kids in school.
In accordance with the eyewitness, who merely recognized himself as Kunle, the dashing truck misplaced management and rammed into the motorcyclist.
He defined that the person died on the spot, leaving residents and passers-by in shock.
“The person had simply dropped his kids in school and was on his approach house when the tipper crushed him. It was a really unhappy scene,” the eyewitness mentioned.
The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) studies that the stays of the deceased had been later taken to the mortuary, whereas the truck driver ran away.
When contacted, the state Sector Commander of the Federal Highway Security Corps, Dr Samuel Ibitoye, and the Police spokesperson within the state, DSP Olushola Ayanlade, mentioned they had been but to be briefed on the incident.
