South Korea’s overseas minister departed for the U.S. on Monday to finalize steps for the return of a number of hundred South Korean staff detained in a large immigration raid in Georgia, a spectacle that has induced confusion, shock and a way of betrayal amongst many within the U.S.-allied nation.
