Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested road urchins, often known as space boys, for harassing motorists in some areas of Lagos State.

The RRS confirmed the arrest of the road urchins on Thursday morning by a press release on its official X account.

“On Thursday, ninth October 2025, RRS operatives carried out sting operations at three infamous spots to arrest road urchins who harass motorists with broken-down autos within the metropolis,” the assertion learn partially.

A few of the areas lined by the crew included Previous Toll Gate/Motorways (Ketu), Adeniji Adele (Third Mainland Bridge), and Ile Epo, with the primary operation yielding vital outcomes.

Talking additional, the RRS stated three of the suspects had been ex-convicts: Kayode Sulaiman (30 yrs), Basiru Saheed (33 yrs), Ekene Ifeanyi (20 yrs), Ile-Ifa Sherif (27 yrs), and Adeleke Sakiru (23 yrs).
