Remo Stars goalkeeper Serge Obassa has been named in Benin Republic’s 30-man preliminary squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Obassa has been a daily within the Cheetahs squad since becoming a member of Remo Stars initially of the 2024/25 season.
Saturnin Allagbe and Dandjinou Marcel are the 2 different goalkeepers included within the squad.
Among the many regulars named by head coach Gernot Rohr are captain Steve Mounie, Mohamed Tijani, Verdon Oliver, Djodel Dosou, Junior Olaitan, and Tosin Aiyegun.
Rohr is predicted to trim the listing to 25 gamers subsequent week.
The Cheetahs will start preparations for the competitors with a coaching camp in Ben Slimane, Morocco, beginning on Wednesday, 10 December.
They’re drawn in Group D alongside two-time champions Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Botswana.
