The Lagos State Police Command has arrested eight suspected armed robbers and cult members allegedly planning an operation within the Ikorodu space of Lagos.

The suspects: 25-year-old Nurudeen Dolapo; 27-year-old Fadiya Ayodele; 28-year-old Lawal Rasheed; 26-year-old Akerele Demilare; 23-year-old Alimi Victor; 25-year-old Okiki Alufoge; 25-year-old Agboola Samuel; and Ayolade Victor, had been arrested throughout a focused raid within the Odogunyan space.

The Bullock Tactical Group reportedly stormed a felony hideout at about 5:30 p.m. on October 15, 2025, the place the suspects had been allegedly planning nefarious actions.

In line with the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, objects recovered from the suspects included a Nigerian navy camouflage uniform, a battle axe, an assault dagger, a number of charms, and counterfeit $100 payments totalling $3,000.

Adebisi mentioned one of many suspects, Fadiya Ayodele, confessed to being the chief of the Eiye Confraternity within the space and admitted to having earlier handed a regionally made pistol to 1 Adewunmi Annadex, who’s presently on the run.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, recommended the operatives for his or her professionalism and swift motion. He reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to making sure the security and safety of all residents of Lagos State.
