The Nationwide Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP, (South-South), Emmanuel Ogidi, says the emergence of a parallel Board of Trustees, BoT, inside the social gathering is prohibited, describing it as an act of the minority having their say.
Ogidi made this assertion on Friday whereas responding to questions in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Come up Tv monitored by DAILY POST.
In keeping with him, the event had no constitutional foundation and wouldn’t stand.
“It’s straightforward for democracy — the minority could have their say. By our structure, the BoT is clearly outlined.
“What some folks have accomplished is just not recognised by the social gathering; they don’t seem to be the BoT. They will say what they like, however they continue to be the minority,” he stated.
The PDP stalwart additional acknowledged that those that engineered the purported BoT assembly have been solely searching for consideration.
Ogidi clarified that their actions shouldn’t have impact on the legitimacy or operations of the social gathering.
DAILY POST recollects that Mao Ohuabunwa on Friday was appointed the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, BoT, of the social gathering’s faction loyal to Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike.
