The Oyo State Highway Site visitors Administration Authority (OYRTMA), in collaboration with safety businesses, has apprehended eight people impersonating visitors officers and extorting motorists inside the Ibadan metropolis.

The arrest was made throughout a routine operation aimed toward curbing unlawful actions perpetrated by these impersonators, who typically mislead the general public by posing as reputable OYRTMA officers.

“We’ve recovered 95 car quantity plates, ten 10-amp batteries, seventy-five 75-amp batteries, and counterfeit visitors tickets valued between 85,000 and 90,000 Naira throughout the operation,” he revealed.
