The Nigerian Air Power (NAF), by means of the Air Part of Operation Hadin Kai (ACOPHD), has neutralised over 25 terrorists in a coordinated evening operation at Bula in Yobe State and Banki within the North-East on September 18, 2025.
NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, mentioned the operation adopted credible stories from floor troops, prompting the deployment of a power bundle comprising Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and assault plane.
“The ISR platform established contact with floor forces, tracked terrorist actions, and recognized a number of teams north of Banki. Actual-time updates had been relayed to floor troops and base operations, enabling synchronised motion,” Ejodame mentioned.
He defined that strike plane engaged the terrorists in three successive precision strikes on their motion routes and meeting areas, successfully neutralising greater than 25 fighters.
Put up-strike surveillance confirmed that floor forces held their defensive positions, with no additional threats detected within the space.
Ejodame famous that the profitable operation underscores the NAF’s dedication to supporting floor troops, denying terrorists freedom of motion, and securing the North-East.
