The Deputy Nationwide Youth Chief of the Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP, Timothy Osadolor, has stated that the third-term bid of former President Olusegun Obasanjo would have saved Nigeria.
He argued that Nigeria made a pricey mistake by not permitting Obasanjo to have a 3rd time period in workplace, stating that the nation’s establishments and governance may need been stronger below his continued management.
Osadolor made the remarks on Monday in Abuja, contrasting Obasanjo’s file in workplace with what he described because the shortcomings of successive governments.
“With the advantage of hindsight, and given the efficiency of governments that adopted, I believe Nigeria ought to apologise to President Obasanjo for denying him a 3rd time period.
“Maybe a 3rd time period below him would have stabilised and strengthened our nationwide establishments. We might have had fewer strongmen and stronger establishments,” he stated.
