The Chairman of the Nigeria Nationwide League, NNL, Mr George Aluo, has counseled centre referee Lawal Jibrin Abdulwahab for his efficiency within the match between Sporting Supreme and Gombe United.
Abdulwahab was assisted by Musa Bajaj and Aminu Ibrahim.
Aluo stated that the match officers displayed unbiased officiating, displaying composure and good administration all through the sport.
The encounter, which ended goalless, befell on the Bwari Stadium in Abuja on Friday.
“I need to give kudos to them for the professionalism they exhibited in dealing with the match,” Aluo advised NNL media.
“They weren’t intimidated by any of the groups neither did they permit emotion to have an effect on their selections which is what we’d like from referees.
“All the choices they took had been good and even when the Coach of Sporting Supreme complained unnecessarily, the middle referee gave him a straight crimson card which was applauded by all. And the great factor was that on the finish of the sport each groups had been happy with the officiating.”
