The Nigerian Meteorological Company (NiMet) has predicted wet and thundery climate situations throughout Nigeria from Monday to Wednesday.
NiMet’s climate outlook launched on Sunday in Abuja envisaged thunderstorms with average rainfall over elements of Jigawa, Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Yobe, and Katsina within the northern states on Monday morning.
The company predicted rains in Kebbi, Adamawa, and Taraba later within the day.
“Flash floods are attainable in Bauchi, Jigawa, Katsina, Kaduna, and Kano States throughout this era.
“Central states like Niger, Benue, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Plateau, and Nasarawa will see morning cloudiness and light-weight to average rainfall, with a excessive threat of flooding in elements of Plateau.
