The Nigerian Military has deployed a brigade to flush out kidnappers from forests throughout Kwara State, based on the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye.
In an announcement on Wednesday, Mr Ajakaye mentioned troops had been already transferring by way of communities in Ifelodun, Edu, and Patigi native authorities areas, together with Oke Ode and Babanla, as a part of a renewed safety operation.
“The Governor recommended President Bola Tinubu for the help, and the navy high-command and allied safety forces for the renewed intervention to remove all threats to public security within the state,” Mr Ajakaye mentioned.
He quoted Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as pledging the state’s full help for the navy and different safety businesses.
“We is not going to spare any assets in help of the navy, DSS, police, and different safety businesses as they work to strengthen the safety of lives and properties,” the assertion learn.

Mr Ajakaye added that the deployment, led by Brigadier Basic A.A. Babatunde, is a part of Operation Fasan Yanma and aimed toward clearing the forests in Kwara South and Kwara North of all prison components.
