Benue State Governor, Fr Hyacinth Alia has stated that political blackmail by by his opponents is not going to derail the continuing transformation of the state as he stays centered on his mission.
Gov Alia acknowledged this by a press release on Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary Tersoo Kula in response to criticism by the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Celebration, PDP over the 100 billion naira mortgage authorised by the State Home of Meeting for him.
Alia stated his administration stays steadfast in its dedication to clear governance, infrastructural renewal, and the welfare of the Benue folks.
He insisted that the mortgage is not going to be misused however invested in initiatives that instantly enhance lives, improve productiveness, and restore Benue’s delight because the Meals Basket of the Nation.
“Opposite to the PDP propaganda, Benue’s debt profile stays inside sustainable limits, and each kobo of the ₦100 billion facility will likely be tied to verifiable and people-oriented Tasks”.
He identified that the Home of Meeting’s unanimous approval displays an understanding of the important infrastructural deficit inherited and confidence in his capability to ship.
