Items price tens of millions of naira have been destroyed yesterday when hearth gutted 14 out of 42 outlets at Ogundipe Market, Agodi Gate, in Ibadan North Native Council.
Confirming the incident, the Particular Adviser on Fireplace Reform and Chairman of the Fireplace Companies Company, Moroof Adebayo Akinwande, stated the outbreak occurred within the early hours, however no lives have been misplaced. He defined that the hearth was reported at 3:50 a.m. by a resident, Mr Sulaiman, and that personnel led by T.Ok. Olayiwola promptly responded.
“Upon arrival, we discovered 14 outlets nicely alight. We swiftly curtailed the hearth and prevented it from spreading to different close by outlets. No casualties have been recorded,” he stated.
