The Minister of Works, Engr Dave Umahi, has mourned the late famend preacher, Uma Ukpai, and described him as a trainer of the gospel and a person of immovable religion.
The late Reverend Ukpai, till his demise, preached the gospel with many years of unwavering devotion.
Engr Dave Umahi, in a condolence he personally signed, expressed shock over the demise of Rev Ukpai, stressing that his passing has created a vacuum that hurts deeply.
He stated: “I obtained with a deep sense of loss the unhappy information of the passing of the Founder and President of Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Affiliation (UUEA), Rev Dr Uma Ukpai, which occurred on the sixth day of October 2025 on the age of 80 years.
“Late Uma Ukpai was a famend preacher and trainer of the gospel whose insightful sermons helped in shaping the non secular journey of many Christians worldwide. He was a person of immovable religion who preached the gospel of Christ with many years of unwavering devotion. He shall be remembered for his untiring dedication in direction of selling the flourishing of the phrase of God.
“He continued to evangelise the gospel of Christ till the final day when he was ushered into the wonderful presence of his heavenly Father.
“With the Christian devoted across the globe, we be a part of our hearts in solidarity and empathy with the bereaved household at this solemn second as we provide our prayers for the repose of his soul. Might his light soul relaxation in good peace. Amen.”
The Works Minister additional requested the household of the deceased Ukpai to take solace in the truth that the evangelist lived a Godly life that touched many lives positively.
He pressured, “Please settle for the heartfelt condolences and compassion of my household, the administration, and workers of the Federal Ministry of Works.”
