A Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom in Jos, on Monday, sentenced a 26-year-old labourer, Abraham John, to 18 months in jail for stealing three baggage of cement.
The Justice of the Peace, Irene Pati, summarily tried and sentenced the convict, who pleaded responsible to the cost.
Pati, in her judgment, nonetheless, gave the convict an choice of a superb of N20,000 or six months for trespass.
