Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has referred to as for an investigation into the intelligence failure that led to the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Kebbi State, and the killing of a Brigade Commander, Musa Uba, in Borno State.

Mr Kwankwaso, in a press release on Fb, described the killing of the army basic and kidnapping of the schoolgirls as “a surge in insecurity in Nigeria (that) has reached a stage that calls for pressing consideration from all authorities, particularly the Federal Authorities”.


“The kidnapping and subsequent killing of Brigadier Gen. M. Uba by terrorists in Borno State is likely one of the darkest moments in our nation’s struggle in opposition to terrorism. This stunning intelligence and operational failure calls for a right away and thorough investigation”, he said.

Mr Kwankwaso’s demand for an investigation amplified the voice of Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, who earlier accused the safety businesses of ignoring credible intelligence offered by the State Safety Providers (SSS) relating to the upcoming assault on the Authorities Women Complete Secondary Faculty, Maga, in Danko Wasagu Native Authorities Space.
