Katsina governor reshuffles cupboard, creates livestock ministry

Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina State has accepted a cupboard reshuffle and the creation of a brand new Ministry of Livestock Improvement

This was introduced by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, on Saturday in Katsina.

He mentioned that Alhaji Adnan Nahabu has been moved from the Ministry for Particular Duties to the Ministry for Greater, Vocational and Technical Schooling, as Commissioner.

Prof. Ahmad Muhammad-Bakori has been moved from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Improvement to move the newly created Ministry of Livestock Improvement.

Alhaji Aliyu Lawal-Zakari has been redeployed from the Ministry of Youth and Sports activities Improvement to the Ministry of Agriculture, whereas Hajiya Zainab Musa-Musawa, has been transferred from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Schooling, to the Ministry of Particular Duties.

He added that the newly appointed Commissioners: Alhaji Yusuf Suleiman-Jibia, takes over as Commissioner for Primary and Secondary Schooling and Alhaji Surajo Yazid-Abukur has been appointed Commissioner for Youths and Sports activities Improvement.

Additionally, Hajiya Aisha Aminu, beforehand Director-Basic of the Katsina State Enterprise Improvement Company, now heads the Ministry of Girls Affairs.

As well as, Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar-Yar’adua was redeployed from the Ministry of Girls Affairs to function Particular Adviser on Vitamin and Welfare Providers, whereas Alhaji Isa Muhammad-Musa, was redeployed from the Ministry for Greater, Technical and Vocational Schooling, to function Particular Adviser on Cultural Orientation.

Kaula-Mohammed qouted Radda as charging all of the appointees to stay dedicated to the imaginative and prescient of his administration’s ‘Constructing Your Future Agenda’, and prioritise service to the folks of the state.
He mentioned that the reshuffle, which took rapid impact, was geared toward repositioning the administration for improved service supply and optimum efficiency throughout key sectors.

“The reshuffle will improve coordination, deepen sectoral experience, and speed up the supply of essential programmes throughout schooling, well being, agriculture, youths improvement, girls empowerment, and social welfare,” Radda mentioned.
