The Kano State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old man, Mutawakkilu Ibrahim, for allegedly killing his grandparents throughout a quarrel over meals.
The police spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, disclosed the arrest in a press release on Thursday.
Mr Kiyawa mentioned the incident occurred on 25 September at Kofar Dawanau within the Dala LGA.
Based on him, Mr Ibrahim stabbed Muhammad Dan Sakkwato, 75, and his spouse, Hadiza Tasidi, 65 — at about 9 a.m.
The assault left the aged couple with extreme accidents.
