The Kano State Authorities has authorized N1.1 billion for procurement of free college uniforms for main one pupils within the state to encourage enrolment.
That is contained in a press release issued by Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, the spokesman of Gov. Abba Yusuf on Friday in Kano.
In keeping with the assertion, offering free college uniforms will enhance enrollment, enhance retention, and guarantee equal alternative.
He emphasised that schooling is a proper, not a privilege, and this initiative will ease the burden on mother and father.
“The transfer goals to draw out-of-school kids into school rooms and enhances different schooling reforms, aligning with the federal government’s complete schooling agenda”.
