Armed males invaded the house of former Ijebu-Ode Native Council Chairman, Alhaji Emilola Gazal, within the early hours of yesterday, carting away valuables, money, and his car after forcing him to make a financial institution switch.
The incident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. when a gang of three armed males broke into his residence.
Eyewitnesses stated the attackers compelled Gazal to open his banking software and switch funds earlier than escaping together with his silver-coloured car and different belongings.
Talking by way of a neighbour’s phone, Gazal described the assault as terrifying, including that the robbers had been armed and operated with precision.
The Ijebu-Ode Police Space Command, Igbeba, confirmed the incident and stated an investigation is underway. Safety operatives are intensifying efforts to trace down the suspects .
