Actual Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has picked the membership’s participant that shocked him to this point this season.
Talking at his post-match interview after Actual Madrid defeated Espanyol 2-0 on the weekend, Alonso stated defender Alvaro Carreras’ competitiveness within the crew shocked him.
Actual Madrid signed Carreras from Benfica through the summer time switch window.
“I used to be optimistic, I’ve, we’ve been following him for some time, however his character and competitiveness have very pleasantly shocked me,” Alonso stated.
“He makes only a few errors and has an amazing mentality. It’s shocking how rapidly he’s impacted by that place.
“We even have Fran [Garcia], David [Alaba] and Ferland [Mendy] for that place. However his efficiency has been glorious.”
Carreras performed all 90 minutes towards Espanyol and can hope to play once more for Alonso’s facet towards Levante on Tuesday.
