A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ladan Salihu, has stated that the arm of democracy are amputated at any time when a go governor defects to the ruling get together.
Salihu made this assertion on Wednesday whereas responding to questions in an interview on ‘The Morning Transient’, a programme on Channels Tv monitored by DAILY POST.
He was reacting to the current defections of governors into the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
DAILY POST experiences that Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State and his Bayelsa counterpart, Douye Diri, final week defected from the Peoples Democratic Occasion, PDP.
Whereas Governor Mbah joined the APC, Diri is but to announce his subsequent vacation spot.
Reacting, Salihu stated, “I’ve at all times raised my voice on the difficulty of Nigeria gravitating in the direction of a one-party state. Every passing day, my worries are validated by the sort of points you see with respect to defections.
