5 siblings have tragically drowned in a ship accident at Obagaji in Agatu Native Authorities Space, Benue State.
The victims reportedly misplaced their lives over the weekend whereas getting back from their farm when the boat they have been touring in capsized after hitting turbulent waters.
A former Agatu Native Authorities Vice Chairman, Mr. Anthony Ikwulono, confirmed the incident, noting, “The victims have been youngsters of the identical dad and mom. They’ve already been buried.”
An area farmer, recognized as Ameh, defined that he had gone to his farm with six of his youngsters to reap crops. “On their means again dwelling, the small boat carrying us with a heavy load capsized on account of sturdy waves.
