No fewer than 4 individuals misplaced their lives in a deadly auto crash that occurred at Itaogbolu alongside the Akure-Ado freeway within the Akure North Native Council Space of Ondo State.
The accident occurred when a business bus and a loaded truck, travelling in reverse instructions alongside the route, had a head-on collision.
With two male adults, one feminine grownup, and two feminine kids giving up the ghost on the spot, eyewitnesses described the scene as gory.
One of many eyewitnesses said that the motive force of the bus remained trapped behind the wheel, with different passengers injured within the accident, whereas the crash induced heavy gridlock on the freeway.
Based on the supply, it took the assistance of motorists and close by residents to rescue some survivors from the wreckage.
“The state of affairs is important. Emergency autos and personnel are wanted to handle the tragedy and stop additional lack of life,” the supply said.
Confirming the accident, the State Sector Commander of FRSC, Ibitoye, mentioned the accident was brought on by extreme dashing.
He mentioned the stays of the victims had been evacuated by the command and deposited on the mortuary of the State Specialist Hospital, Akure.
