Arsenal supervisor, Mikel Arteta, has confirmed that Cristhian Mosquera can be “out for weeks” with an ankle drawback.
Arteta revealed this after their 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Gunners started the sport with Jurrien Timber and Hiero Hincapie within the centre of defence.
Mosquera was dominated out for the journey to Villa Park, having limped off throughout the 2-0 win over Brentford.
Arteta stated after the match on the Emirates that the Spanish defender will bear extra checks.
“He’s going to be out for weeks, sadly,” Arteta advised reporters.
“It’s rather more than what we anticipated.”
