Operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC), on Tuesday, arrested 28 suspected web fraudsters in Ilorin, Kwara State.
An announcement by the fee stated the arrests adopted credible intelligence linking the suspects to cybercrime actions throughout the state capital.
“The suspects have been picked at Tanke, College Street, Oshin, and Agbabiaka areas through the sting operation,” it stated.
It listed seven unique automobiles, together with a modern mannequin Toyota Corolla and a Lexus, two bikes, in addition to costly telephones and laptops believed to be instruments of the suspects’ illicit commerce, which have been recovered from them.
“The suspects can be arraigned in courtroom upon the conclusion of the continued investigations.”
