The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, on Saturday, endorsed Governor Francis Nwifuru for a second time period.
Umahi warned that intending governorship candidates can solely contest in opposition to Nwifuru on social media.
He issued the warning through the Ohanivo 2025 New Yam Pageant in Onicha LGA of Ebonyi State.
In accordance with Umahi: “Those that refuse to listen to they may hear us as a result of the dominion of God suffered violence after which we’re going to be very vocal to let our folks know that individuals are tackling the council with out information.
“We need to be a part of a united Nigeria, we need to be handled pretty, we need to be counted and the President is doing that.
“So we’ve got no purpose to not assist him, we’ve got no purpose to not assist Governor Francis Nwifuru.
“Let me let you know one thing, If you wish to wrestle for governor with Nwifuru, it’s important to do it on social media. As a result of you’ll not come to Ebonyi State to reap the place you didn’t sow.
“They thought that father and son will probably be quarreling so they might reap the place they didn’t present. It’s a lie.
“It’s Governor Nwifuru for eight years, Tinubu for eight years and nothing will cease it as a result of God has stated it.”
