Former Kano State Governor and chief of the New Nigeria Folks’s Get together (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has warned those that have deserted the NNPP or the Kwankwasiyya motion that they may face the political penalties of their actions within the 2027 basic elections.

Kwankwaso ,in accordance with a BBC Hausa report monitored by our correspondent in Kaduna, issued the warning in Kano through the continuation of actions marking his 69th birthday celebrations.

Talking within the interview with the BBC Hausa Service shortly after assembly with journalists, the NNPP presidential candidate within the 2023 elections mentioned these leaving the motion have been doing so at their very own peril, stressing that “our political venture will proceed to punish betrayal.”
