Former Deputy Nationwide Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP, Bode George, has mentioned governors alone don’t make a celebration.
George made the assertion on Tuesday whereas responding to questions throughout an interview on Channels Tv’s Politics As we speak.
He said that governors are solely an added worth to a celebration, stressing that it’s the individuals who actually make up the occasion.
The PDP chieftain was reacting to the defection of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
“Governors alone don’t make the occasion, they’re an added worth. The individuals make up your occasion. We are going to marketing campaign. We are going to go to the sector and clarify to the individuals. What has the APC executed to place a smile on the faces of Nigerians? What are the financial indices?
“It’s not the matter of being within the authorities and so they assume they will manoeuvre and manipulate outcomes for them to win elections,” he mentioned.
