Brazilian soccer icon, Zico has made his selection of who’s the best of all time in African soccer.
Based on him, former Tremendous Eagles midfielder and captain, Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha occupies that place.
Zico mentioned this when he appeared on John Obi Mikel’s Obi One Podcast on Thursday.
The Brazilian legend mentioned he admired Okocha’s fashion of soccer, which he described as ‘incredible’.
He mentioned that Okocha’s creativity and aptitude made him stand out amongst his friends.
Talking to Mikel about the most effective African participant he has ever seen, Zico mentioned, “I like Okocha — a incredible participant. Quantity 10, Okocha. Eto’o, incredible. George Weah, Drogba.”
Zico additionally mentioned that his compatriot, Pelé stays the best footballer of all time.
Okocha, now 52, performed 73 instances for Nigeria, scoring 14 objectives.
