The Bayelsa State Authorities has mourned the passing of an illustrious son, retired Navy Captain Walter Feghabo.
The late naval officer handed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, on the age of 67. He would have been 68 on December 10.
Feghabo, who was a head chief in Nembe Kingdom and bore the title “Amain”, was the pioneer Army Administrator of Ebonyi State when it was created in 1996 alongside Bayelsa State.
He was re-assigned to Delta State in 1998 until the nation’s return to democratic rule in Might 1999.
