The member representing Umuahia North constituency within the Abia State Home of Meeting, Anderson Akaliro, has resigned his membership of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Akaliro declared that he could be aligning with Governor Alex Otti’s administration.
Akaliro, who was the one APC lawmaker within the Meeting, made his resolution recognized in a resignation letter he addressed to the chairman of the APC in Umuahia North LGA.
He claimed that persistent inside crises, factional disputes and an absence of cohesive management inside the APC had been the explanations he dumped the celebration.
The lawmaker additional alleged that he was marginalized and excluded from celebration actions.
The Umuahia North consultant additional lamented that he was not being invited to any assembly or occasion by the APC management in Abia, at the same time as he faulted what he referred to as steady suspension and counter suspensions within the celebration.
He concluded by declaring that he could be aligning with Governor Alex Otti’s administration, which he described as “visionary and development-oriented”.
