The Deputy Speaker of the Home of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has mentioned that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, will take over Abia State, which is presently managed by the Labour Occasion.

Kalu said this on Sunday whereas addressing a crowd of his supporters and APC members on the Abia Motels in Umuahia.

He mentioned President Bola Tinubu is poised to determine a seaport within the South-East geopolitical zone to spice up commerce and commerce within the area.

The Deputy Speaker additionally famous that the President understands that the South-East is predominantly a buying and selling area, therefore, he’s decided to carry a seaport nearer to the individuals.

In accordance with him, the time has come for Abia to be built-in into mainstream politics in order to profit extra from the centre.

“We’re going to take over Abia in 2027; we need to work with the President to maneuver our state ahead.
