The Nationwide Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has introduced the dissolution of the get together’s management in Enugu State.
Durosinmi Meseko, the deputy nationwide publicity secretary of the APC, disclosed this in a statement posted on the get together’s official Fb web page on Friday.
Mr Meseko mentioned the NWC accepted the dissolution at its 179th assembly on the get together’s nationwide secretariat in Abuja on Thursday.
The deputy nationwide publicity secretary mentioned the APC Nationwide Chairperson, Nentawe Yilwatda, a professor, presided over the assembly.
Appointment of caretaker committee
Mr Meseko mentioned the NWC constituted a seven-member caretaker committee to supervise the affairs of the get together within the state pending the election of substantive management.
Ben Nwoye, a former chairperson of the APC in Enugu State, was appointed caretaker chairperson, whereas a former speaker of the Enugu State Home of Meeting, Eugene Odoh, emerged as secretary.
Different members of the committee are Fidelia Njoeze, Peter Chime, Oby Ajih, Chiedozie Nwafor and Emma Ekeh.

Background

Mr Nwoye, who was amongst these suspended from the get together, later dismissed the suspension, calling on Mr Arodiogbo to analyze the allegations of anti-party actions in opposition to them.
In February 2025, the faction led by Mr Nnamani introduced the expulsion of Mr Agballah and eight others from the get together.
The get together faction claimed that Mr Agballah and different expelled members had constantly disobeyed the orders of a excessive court docket that restrained them from parading themselves as government members of the get together within the state.
