The Anambra State Police Command has introduced a complete restriction of vehicular motion inside and outdoors the state through the November 8 governorship election.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated in a press release that the restriction will take impact from 12:00 a.m. to six:00 p.m. on Election Day.
In line with him, the restriction applies to all roads throughout the state, together with interstate highways. He added that the measure aligns with the unanimous resolution reached at a gathering of Safety Service Commanders held on November 5, 2025, on the Police State Headquarters in Awka.
