The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, has assured that about 6,879 BVAS have been configured and prepared for deployment for Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State.

INEC chairman, Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan made this recognized through the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election Stakeholders’ Assembly held at Prof Dora Akunyili Memorial Centre, Awka, on Tuesday.

He stated out of the 13 actions outlined for the election on Saturday, eleven of them have been efficiently met.

He stated INEC has revealed all of the names of the sixteen candidates collaborating within the election, insisting that any candidate whose identify was not revealed within the record wouldn’t take part within the election.

He introduced that about 3,456 individuals with disabilities can be voting to train their civic rights.

The INEC chairman famous that about 6, 829 BVAS have been deployed and configured for the election and the IReV is able to add leads to actual time and the winner introduced directly.

Additionally talking, the Inspector Normal of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, who was represented by the Deputy Inspector Normal of Police, DIG, in command of Power Intelligence, Benjamin Okolo, stated the police can be civil of their conduct through the election.

Ukeagu careworn on the necessity voters to have their PVCs prepared or they won’t be allowed to vote.

He disclosed that about 24,000 adhoc workers have been skilled for the election and prepared for the train

In her remarks, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Anambra State, Queen Elizabeth Agwu stated every little thing is prepared for Saturday’s governorship election.
