The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, has challenged the donation of funds to the governor of Anambra State by numerous communities.
Nwosu mentioned the donations breach electoral legal guidelines, describing the event as deeply troubling.
Governor Soludo has been transferring his marketing campaign practice from neighborhood to neighborhood, and every neighborhood visited presents cheques of a whole lot of hundreds of thousands of naira to help his re-election.
Nwosu who spoke to journalists, warned that the event raises severe issues beneath the nation’s electoral legal guidelines, in addition to ethical and moral questions.
“I’m conscious of experiences that some teams and cities have made humongous donations to Governor Soludo and APGA in purported help of his marketing campaign. Such donations elevate real issues about compliance with the Electoral Act, morality, and the rule of legislation.

He appealed to Anambra folks to vote for the ADC, promising a return to honesty, equity and people-centered management.
