The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, has referred to as a for deeper collaboration among the many media, civil society organisations, CSOs, and the fee within the battle towards corruption and monetary crimes.

EFCC Chairman, Mr Ola Olukoyede, who made the decision at a capability constructing workshop for journalists and civil society organisations in Lagos, underscored the strategic significance the fee attaches to the roles of journalists and civil society actors as watchdogs of the society.

He additionally disclosed that the fee launched a Specialised Workshop Collection on Financial and Monetary Crimes Reporting in 2022 to construct the capability of journalists, and had now expanded it to incorporate civil society teams to foster inclusiveness and broader civic participation.
