Former Governor of Enugu State Sullivan Chime has reacted to the defection of the state governor, Peter Mbah, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a put up by way of his social media web page on Tuesday, Chime stated that it was not an act of betrayal.
In accordance with him, “political realignment will not be betrayal; it’s the braveness to comply with imaginative and prescient when previous paths can now not carry the dream.”
DAILY POST recollects that Chime left the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, for APC shortly after the top of his second time period as Governor of Enugu State in 2016.
Throughout his defection, the previous governor described PDP as a “useless social gathering” following a management disaster that engulfed the social gathering.
Additionally, the quick previous governor of the state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, was amongst those that defected to APC.
Others included some members of the Nationwide and State assemblies, former PDP executives, native authorities chairmen, and members of the State Govt Council, amongst others.
