The Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) has postponed its 103rd Nationwide Government Committee (NEC) assembly scheduled for Wednesday, 15 October.
The Nationwide Publicity Secretary of the Celebration, Debo Ologunagba, in an announcement on Monday in Abuja, mentioned the postponement of the NEC assembly to a brand new date could be communicated to members sooner or later.
Mr Ologunagba mentioned the postponement was permitted by the celebration’s Nationwide Working Committee (NWC) at its emergency assembly on Monday relating to latest developments within the celebration.

He added that the NWC took the choice train of its powers pursuant to Part 29 (2)(b) of the Structure of the PDP (as amended in 2017).
“All NEC members ought to please observe the postponement and be guided accordingly,” Ologunagba mentioned.
The primary opposition celebration held its 102nd NEC assembly in August.
