Staff Brazil made historical past on Sunday, securing its maiden collection triumph on the E1 Lagos Grand Prix with a dominant efficiency on the groundbreaking African version of the championship.

Skippered by Timmy Hansen and Leva Millere-Hagin, the Brazilian duo impressed from begin to end, sweeping by way of the group levels and race-offs earlier than sealing victory in an exciting last showdown.

Their excellent show earned the crew 38 factors, boosting their total championship tally to 89 factors. Staff Blue Rising claimed the runner-up spot, whereas Staff Drogba completed third. In a shocking twist, main contenders Staff Rafa and Staff Brady did not make the rostrum.

The E1 Lagos GP, held on October 5 and 6 in Victoria Island, Lagos, marked the primary time the all-electric powerboat championship was staged on African waters. The occasion blended high-performance racing with technological innovation and environmental consciousness.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State described the championship as a landmark second for the state, highlighting its potential to drive innovation, sustainability, and world recognition.

“Internet hosting the E1 Grand Prix is not only about sport. It’s about innovation, environmental duty, and placing Lagos on the worldwide map for future-focused improvement,” the governor stated after the ultimate race.
