About 792 ladies have dumped the principle opposition social gathering, the Individuals’s Democratic Social gathering, PDP, and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Jigawa State.
The defectors have been obtained by the spouse of the governor, Amina Umar Namadi, in Birnin Kudu Native Authorities Space.
She mentioned the event mirrored the great management of the current administration beneath Governor Umar Namadi and its dedication to enhancing the lives of residents, particularly ladies and youth.
Mrs Namadi congratulated the ladies and guaranteed them that the APC’s doorways stay open to all who want to be a part of the motion for the state’s growth.
Additionally talking on the occasion, the Secretary to the State Authorities, Malam Bala Ibrahim, reaffirmed the current administration’s dedication to enhancing the lives of unusual residents.
He famous that since its inception, the state authorities has launched a collection of programmes and insurance policies for the event of the state.
Based on him, “the current administration has excelled amongst his counterparts in delivering the dividends of democracy to its residents.”
Talking on behalf of the defectors, Amina Waina mentioned the ladies shifted their loyalty to the current administration as a result of its dedication to supporting ladies.
They pledged to proceed mobilising ladies to assist the current administration within the forthcoming 2027 common election.
