Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has revealed the explanation for his intention to hitch the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Talking at a cultural occasion in Jimeta, Adamawa State, on Saturday, Kefas mentioned his deliberate defection is motivated by his dedication to selling the pursuits of his folks.

The occasion, titled ‘Civic Reception: Unveiling of Margi Nationwide Apparel’, was organised by the Margi tribe within the state to advertise their tradition and inaugurate a nationwide apparel for its folks.

The celebration was attended by three governors of the Peoples Democratic Get together and different dignitaries.

DAILY POST reviews that Kefas, on Tuesday, introduced the postponement of his ceremonial defection to the APC, earlier scheduled to be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, following the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Kebbi State.

Talking on the gathering, Kefas mentioned the choice was pushed by the curiosity of the folks of Taraba State.
